MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE The candidate will be asked by the examiner to identify and explain five of the following area’s of underpinning musical knowledge: Chord inversions, syncopation, Primary and Secondary chords (major key only), intervals within one octave of the major scale, the construction of the augmented chord (root position), musical form |
Up To 5 Marks For |
TUNING Tune a Ukulele by ear on which all four strings will need adjustment, a reference G will be given. Candidates will be permitted a maximum of 2 minutes to complete this task |
